Adam Wilson
Adam Wilson is the Vice President of Global Brand Merchandising at Nike Inc. Adam has been with the Nike brand for 16 years in roles spanning multiple functions, including experiences working in North America, Latin America, and Europe as well as numerous global roles serving consumers across the gender and age spectrum. Adam has developed a reputation as an empowering leader, reducing complexity, and a strong communicator across cultures and business models.
As a Portland-native, Adam has enjoyed the nature and recreation that the Portland Parks have offered for decades. Some of his earliest memories are hiking the trails of Forest Park with his parents and brother marveling at the banana slugs and counting the trillium. He is excited to bring both his industry experience and his international exposure to the Portland Parks Foundation to continue the great work elevating our parks system as integral part of a healthy, mobile Portland.
Adam is married to Kristi Wilson, also a native of the Northwest, who also works for Nike in Sustainable Innovation. With their son Wyatt, they share a passion for travel, the outdoors, and basketball whether it’s playing or cheering on the Trail Blazers. Adam is a graduate of Portland’s Wilson High School and Oregon State University.
