You’ll learn about the turtles that live in the natural area and then get your hands dirty removing English Ivy Patches. CSWC and PP&R will provide tools, gloves and project instructions. Face coverings are optional to wear at the event. Youth with their guardian are welcome to register.

  • Leach Botanical Garden + The Back 5 Community Enhancement Project

Join us at Leach Botanical Gardens for a Weird and Wondrous tour, where you'll walk the garden trails and learn about the Wood Wide Web, Tea Camellia, how fractals in nature can lower your stress, diabolical gnat-pollinated plants, and more! Then get ready to pull some weeds in the Back 5 Community Habitat Enhancement Project Area. Leach will provide tools, gloves and project instruction. Face coverings are optional to wear at the event. Youth with their guardian are welcome to register.
